Detailed Kit Components:
Our Commitment: Secure and Future-Proof your Panasonic Fleet
The Panasonic AK-UCX100 is a premium 4K HDR studio camera designed for live broadcasting. Featuring a high-sensitivity 1" MOS sensor (shared with the AW-UE160 PTZ), it delivers 2,000 TV lines of resolution and perfectly matched colorimetry for hybrid camera fleets.
Its IP-native architecture supports SMPTE ST 2110, NDI High Bandwidth, and SRT protocols without an external CCU. Capable of simultaneous HLG (BT.2020) and SDR (BT.709) output, it excels in TV studios and sports venues with high-speed slow-motion capabilities. This kit ensures a seamless transition to All-IP workflows while maintaining standard 12G-SDI connectivity for standalone or CCU-based operations.
Can the camera be used without a Control Unit (CCU)?
Yes. Thanks to its IP-native design, the AK-UCX100 can transmit 4K streams directly via 12G-SDI or over IP (ST2110, NDI, SRT) without a CCU.
What is the difference compared to the AK-UC4000?
The UCX100 features native ST2110 redundancy and SFP28 support. It offers higher resolution (2,000 TV lines) and a more compact form factor than the UC4000.
Is it compatible with Panasonic PTZ cameras?
Absolutely. It shares the same 1" sensor as the AW-UE160, ensuring perfectly matched colorimetry between your PTZ shots and your manned studio cameras.
Do you offer a buy-back program for the Panasonic UCX100?
Yes. Video Brokers provides a permanent buy-back guarantee, securing your investment and facilitating future technology upgrades for your fleet.
