1. Purpose and Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern all sales of professional audiovisual equipment by VIDEO BROKERS to its international and domestic clients. They prevail over any purchase conditions from the buyer.

Any order implies the full and unreserved acceptance of these GTC.

2. Orders and Quotations

A sale is considered final upon receipt of a signed quotation or a formal purchase order. VIDEO BROKERS reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of a previous dispute or payment default.

3. Prices and Export Taxes

All prices are quoted in Euros (€) excluding VAT (EXW - Ex-Works). For international sales:

  • Intra-Community (EU): VAT is not charged if a valid intra-community VAT number is provided.
  • Export (Outside EU): Prices are tax-free. Customs duties, local taxes, and import formalities are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

4. Payment Methods

Standard payment is required in full before shipping by wire transfer. Late payments will result in penalties (BCE rate + 10 points) and suspension of deliveries.

5. Delivery and Transfer of Risk

Unless otherwise agreed, sales are made under the Incoterm EXW (Saint-Denis, France). The risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer as soon as the goods leave our warehouse.

6. Retention of Title

VIDEO BROKERS retains full ownership of the equipment until full payment of the price is received.

7. Warranty and Liability

New Equipment: Manufacturer's warranty only. Used Equipment: 3-month warranty unless stated otherwise on the invoice. Liability is strictly limited to the net invoice value of the goods.

8. Export Control and Compliance

The buyer is responsible for obtaining any necessary export licenses and certifies that the equipment will not be exported to countries under international embargo.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These GTC are governed by French Law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Bobigny (93), France.
